Asbestos Removal
All asbestos is removed under strictly controlled conditions and very tightly implemented health & safety systems. We operate fully to current legislation, are independently audited, are members of ARCA (the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association), and our operational staff hold the highest qualifications in the UK for asbestos removal. |

Merryhill provide a range of services in asbestos removal and asbestos abatement. We are fully licensed by the Health & Safety Executive to provide asbestos removal, asbestos encapsulation, asbestos disposal and asbestos management. |
Merryhill can undertake asbestos removal within a wide variety of buildings and environments, and are the only UK primary asbestos removal contractor to have been chosen to remove asbestos from the site of the Olympic Park in London for 2012. |
Recent contracts have seen us remove asbestos from military bases for the Ministry of Defence, hospitals and schools, domestic premises and local authority buildings, commercial and industrial sites, nuclear sites for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, plus churches and local community buildings, amongst others, including fly-tipping. |

Asbestos Waste Transfer Station
Merryhill operates a major regional asbestos waste transfer station at its main headquarters in Romsey near Southampton. |

Run under licence from the Environment Agency, we are able to accept both bonded and fibrous asbestos waste from pre-approved companies and organisations, and provide a safe, economical service to contractors and other companies within and outside the construction industry. |

Asbestos Awareness Training
Merryhill’s surveying division, Merryhill Asbestos Testing and Consulting, is able to offer a range of asbestos awareness training programmes to both local and national clients. Programmes can cover clients who require general asbestos awareness training for many staff, or those who need more focused front line training for staff who may come into contact with asbestos themselves.
We can design bespoke training courses to a particular client industry if required, and are happy to take training courses at our premises near Southampton, a client’s own premises or a third party venue if needed. |
